A TOTAL of 17 sheep are believed to be stolen after a suspected raid on a farm.
Eden Police is appealing for information after a report that Swaledale sheep aged between one and four were taken sometime since October 2019 from the Mallerstang area.
The sheep all have a red stroke down the nearside and some were marked with a black dot on the fleece. All are tagged with the number UK103090.
