RESCUERS were called out at around 7pm last night when two 30-year-old men found themselves "completely lost" and "surrounded by swamp up to their knees" in the Yorkshire Dales.
The Clapham-based Cave Rescue Organisation's (CRO's) duty controller used the 'Phone Find' application to discover the pair were on the edge of Black Dub Moss between High Birkwith and Pen-y-Ghent.
Groups of rescuers approached from both High Birkwith and Horton Scar Lane, soon locating the walkers and guiding them to a team Land Rover.
A CRO spokesman said: "Cold, but otherwise unharmed, they were driven down to Horton-in-Ribblesdale and provided with hot drinks."
