Potential Police and Crime Commissioner candidates have been invited to a briefing session in the lead up to the election.

The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Cumbria is inviting all potential Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) candidates to a briefing event as the election approaches in May.

All possible candidates will get the opportunity to learn about the role of the PCC and the election process.

The briefing will take place on February 24 at Cumbria Constabulary HQ, Carleton Hall, Penrith, CA10 2AU from 6pm.

All candidates and agents are welcome to attend and must contact the OPCC office in advance to book a place.
