A MAN has pleaded not guilty to drink-driving.
Lee Jardine, of Croasdale Avenue in Whitehaven, appeared at South Cumbria Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.
The 37-year-old denied driving a blue Mercedes in Windermere Road, Ambleside, on January 11 with an alcohol level over the legal limit.
Jardine is alleged to have had 65 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35mcg.
The defendant is due to return to the court on February 5 for a case management hearing ahead of the trial.
