BEETHAM Parish Council received a letter from a resident about the "nuisance" of HGVs using Carr Bank Road as a route into Arnside when they were too large to pass under the railway bridge on the B5282 road.
Councillors also discussed the problem of vehicles travelling at "excessive speeds" on Carr Bank Road and the B5282, and concerns were raised about two recent accidents.
