A BUSINESS is taking government advice amid the current coronavirus pandemic.

Brothers Ryan and Craig Blackburn, owners of the Ambleside bistro Kysty and the Old Stamp House restaurant, have introduced social distancing measures after the government statement on how to deal with the COVID-19 outbreak.

Their new temporary measures include reducing the number of covers in the restaurant and increasing the distance between tables.

They have also introduced enhanced in-depth cleaning regime covering all spaces.

In light of current circumstances, the pair have introduced a takeaway menu made up of Kysty classics so that people can continue to enjoy great value food but in the comfort of their own homes.

Ryan said: “We could be precious about the food we create.

"But at the end of the day with an uncertain economic situation we have to be realistic and offer simple, wholesome, affordable food for people to be able to takeaway and eat in the comfort of their own homes.

"The new service kicks today and will run between 10am until 9pm, from Tuesday to Saturday.

"People need to is pre-order via telephone or place their order in house and return 10 minutes later to collect."
