BECAUSE of the current Coronavirus epidemic, Carnforth Town Council has taken to decision to suspend all face to face meetings with immediate effect.
Meetings will still be held on the date and time published on the Carnforth Town Council website but will be conducted online.
Should any member of the public have any comments they wish to make at a Council meeting, please email Bob Bailey, the Town Clerk clerk@carnforthtowncouncil.org.
Other cancellations due to the epidemic are the suspension until further notice of Carnforth film nights at the Civic Hall.
The April film has been cancelled and the May film is under review. Carnforth Civic Hall has been closed to the public.
Carnforth Station Heritage Centre and the Refreshment Room have temporarily closed, and all functions and exhibitions been cancelled or postponed.
Sessions with the Lyrics and Laughter music and singing group which are usually held on the 2 and 4 Thursday of each month at Carnforth Free Methodist Church, Hunter Street have been suspended until further notice.
