Health Secretary Matt Hancock has tested positive for coronavirus.
Mr Hancock tweeted: ‘Following medical advice, I was advised to test for #Coronavirus.
"I’ve tested positive. Thankfully my symptoms are mild and I’m working from home & self-isolating.
"Vital we follow the advice to protect our NHS & save lives.’
His announcement came just a matter of hours after Boris Johnson confirmed that he had tested positive for Covid-19 and was self-isolating at Downing Street.
Mr Hancock said in a video message that he would be self-isolating until next Thursday.
