SUNNYBROW Day care in Kendal will be forced to close as of today due to issues arising due to the Coronavirus.
The nursery has issued a statement explaining the decision.
“We wish to clarify that the present closure of the nursery is only temporary measure during the coronavirus outbreak.
“We had intended to stay open to provide care for the children of the key workers.
“However, it has not been possible due to the very low number of key workers’ children attending. With no definite end in sight, had we continued we may have put the long-term viability of the nursery at risk. We would like to take this opportunity to apologise for any inconvenience caused and reassure parents that we will be reopening as soon as we possibly can”.
