Gamekeepers have urged the public to stay away from the moors over the Easter Weekend.
A recent spate of wildfires has diverted the resources of the emergency services.
Gamekeepers and moorland managers are stepping up their efforts and have readied specialist equipment to fight wildfires.
Amanda Anderson, director of the Moorland Association said: βIt is essential that members of the public follow government instructions and stay at home and away from the moors over the Easter Weekend.β
