A 76-YEAR-old man has been arrested 'on suspicion of criminal damage to a number of plaques/signs' in Kendal, police have confirmed.
A Cumbria Constabulary spokesman said the damage was committed at Wainwright's Yard on May 7, 8 and 14.
He said: "The man was also arrested on suspicion of a public order incident on May 14.
"He was released on police bail as investigations continue."
