CREWS were called out to a fire involving two heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) in Kendal in the early hours of this morning.
Eyewitness Rob Davies captured the above footage of the incident on Mintsfeet Road on his way back from a night shift at Menzies Distribution.
A Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said two fire engines attended the blaze, which involved two HGVs, at around 4.30am.
He said two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet and one 70mm jet were used to extinguish the fire and crews were in attendance for around one hour.
