Latest figures show another day without an announced coronavirus-related death in Cumbrian hospitals.
The NHS England figures released today show that at the University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust - that runs hospitals including the Furness General in Barrow and the Westmorland General Hospital in Kendal - no new deaths were recorded.
It means that only one new death - on May 25 - has been announced by the trust in the last two weeks.
At the North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust - which runs the Cumberland Infirmary in Carlisle and West Cumberland Hospital in Whitehaven - there were also no new announced today.
The last death at the north Cumbria trust was on May 16.
At the Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust - which runs hospitals including the Carleton Clinic in Carlisle - has not recorded a new death since April 26.
The total dead at the three trusts is as follows:
Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear - Seven
North Cumbria Integrated Care - 146
University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay - 160
It is important to remember that some deaths take a number of days to be announced.
