A family has opened a new culinary venture in Windermere this week.
Coffee Bean Cafe has been opened by Kevin and Suzanne Dawson.
The couple previously worked at the Gilpin hotel as reception manager and chef de raung (server).
“Leaving the Gilpin was very hard, however we found the experience that we needed to give us the push to go it alone,” said Mr Dawson.
“Our hope is to provide an excellent affordable breakfast experience focussed on locals. Most places up their prices and target the many tourist visitors. Which isn’t a bad thing but I believe this makes dining out very unaffordable to the everyday worker passing through Windermere.
“We will be open bright and early from 7am to cater for all the workers pre shift.”
The cafe is currently open for deliveries and takeaway meals.
