A MAN who was stabbed to death in Cumbria last night has been named locally.
Dave Greenall was rushed to Furness General Hospital but died of his injuries.
A local man aged 63 has been arrested on suspicion of murder after the incident on Broad Close in Ormsgill.
Police have launched an appeal for information.
Mr Greenall's family and neighbours have paid tribute to him.
His sister Lisa said on Facebook: "If you know anything, please come forward for my brother's sake."
A resident of Broad Close said: "I am really shocked that this has happened, he was such a quiet man.
"It's such a shame."
Officers were still at the scene on Saturday morning conducting enquiries.
They were called out to the incident at 7.56pm on Friday.
Police are appealing for anyone with information or anyone who witnessed this incident to call police on 101 quoting log 198 of June 12.
