A MAN has admitted resisting a police officer.
Darren Wayne Singleton appeared in court accused of resisting PC Buchannan in the execution of her duty.
South Cumbria Magistrates' Court heard the offence took place in Millom on April 5.
After pleading guilty to the charge, the 49-year-old was sentenced to a £100 fine.
The defendant, of Market Street in Millom, was also ordered to pay a £32 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
He was represented by Elizabeth Phizacklea.
