LEVENS: Good Neighbours support good friends
LEVENS Good Neighbours have continued to support the community throughout the challenges of the Corona Virus pandemic.
The volunteers have helped to distribute shopping essentials in conjunction with Levens Village Shop and also supported residents by collecting prescriptions, posting letters as well as completing basic jobs such as changing a light bulb.
The group of volunteers can also assist with changing library books or dog walking and are available to offer a friendly phone call to those in isolation.
Throughout this time, the volunteers have carried out more than two hundred activities of support within the community.
