A MAN has been jailed for 24 weeks for being drunk in a public place.
Linley Nathan Hassan admitted he committed on September 29 when he appeared before South Cumbria Magistrates' Court in Barrow.
The 31-year-old breached an order prohibiting him from being drunk in public in Kendal.
Hassan of the Lowther Street, was ordered to pay a £128 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
Magistrates heard Hassan had shown 'flagrant disregard' for court orders by committing the offence.
