BARROW AFC manager David Dunn has tested positive for Coronavirus, the club have confirmed.
Centre-back Sam Hird and coach Craig Rutherford will take charge of the Bluebirds for today's game away at Harrogate Town, with assistant manager Rob Kelly self-isolating in line with government guidelines.
Hird and Rutherford will be assisted remotely by Dunn and Kelly.
A club spokesman said Dunn became symptomatic earlier in the week and began self-isolating immediately.
The spokesman said: "The squad are in good spirits and are determined to proceed with today’s game and record their first win of the season this afternoon at The EnviroVent Stadium.
"Most importantly, we wish David a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing him back on the touchline as soon as it is safe for him to return."
