Keswick Mountain Rescue Team was called to the aid of a 78-year-old woman after she fell off a wall stile at Low Rigg and injured her leg.
15 team members attended the incident on Saturday (October 17). They administered pain relief and splinted the woman's leg before stretchering her to an ambulance for onwards transfer to Carlisle Infirmary.
