Ulverston Library is set to reopen.
The library has been closed since March due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
However, following the green light from Cumbria County Council, they will be allowed to reopen this Thursday.
It will be open on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 9am until 1pm, where its customers will be able to return, renew and browse books as well as use the library’s computers by booking a 45-minute slot beforehand.
In line with the government’s Covid-19 regulations, a one-way system, protective screens and hand sanitisers have been installed in the library, ensuring that it is a safe environment for its users.
On arrival, a member of staff will guide the library’s users through the new lay-out and precautions.
Ulverston Library can be found on Kings Road. All books will be quarantined on their return.
