A further fourteen Covid-related deaths across hospitals in Cumbria were announced at the weekend.
All of the said deaths were either among patients who had tested positive for Covid-19, or had a mention of Covid-19 on the death certificate.
A breakdown of the seven day infection rates across Cumbria is as follows, per 100,000 people:
Allerdale - 191.1
Barrow - 444.5
Carlisle - 668
Copeland - 415.1
Eden - 332.4
South Lakes - 267.4
The total number of people with at least one positive Covid-19 test result since the start of the pandemic in each area is as follows:
Allerdale - 3,945.3
Barrow - 5,203.7
Carlisle - 6,632.4
Copeland - 3,563.9
Eden - 4,824.1
South Lakes - 3,735.9
