A CUMBRIAN conservation charity has has called on the public to 'add your voice' and encourage the Government in its moves to reduce pesticide use.
The UK and devolved governments are consulting on a draft National Action Plan (NAP) designed to deliver on their commitments to reduce pesticide use and identify areas in which they can be more ambitious in future.
A spokesman for the Wildlife Trusts said: "Unfortunately, it's not there yet.
"If nature is to have any hope of a safe and healthy recovery, the NAP needs a few changes - including adding a target around reducing the overall use of pesticides."
Cumbria Wildlife Trust called on the public to 'add your voice'.
