A LAKE District farming boss has appeared on a popular BBC television programme.
Andrea Meanwell, farming officer at the national park authority, appeared on ‘Countryfile’ with 21-year-old son Hector to discuss farming life and their efforts to make work on an upland farm profitable.
The pair live at Low Borrowbridge Farm in the Howgills.
Sunday's episode, entitled 'The Daffodil Way', also saw presenter Ellie Harrison visit Gloucestershire to see why the area was so famous for the wild daffodil.
It is available to watch on BBC iPlayer now.
