TODAY's WI meeting will feature a Thai cookery demonstration with Deborah and Angela of the Create Escape and describe how these two friends came to set up their successful business, based in Milnthorpe (Thursday, April 8, 2pm, on Zoom).

BOOK Group meets tonight to discuss The Enchanted April by Elizabeth von Arnim (Thursday, April 8, 8pm, on Zoom).

KNIT and nat meet on the second and fourth Tuesday each month (Tuesday, April 13, 3pm, on Zoom).

ST OSWALD's church weekly communion services will recommence next week (Sunday, April 18, 11am).

THE ANNUAL General Meeting of the Village Society will take place on Zoom (Tuesday April 20, 7.30pm).

WORDSWORTH Grasmere events continue on Zoom, with several free poetry groups and open mic sessions.

Children's Easter holiday activities after April 12 may also be booked in advance.

Little Wanderers in the Woodland will encourage young children to be creative and playful outdoors (Fridays, from April 23).
