A MAN is due to stand trial at Carlisle Crown Court after pleading not guilty to allegations of ill-treating a person with learning difficulties.
Zak Phillips-Yates, 37, has been charged with ill treatment of a resident at Fairmead, a learning disabilities service in Kendal.
His case was sent to Carlisle Crown Court with his next first appearance set for May 14.
Mr Phillips-Yates, who is currently suspended from his role at Fairmead, was granted unconditional bail until the trial hearing.
His address was given as Langley Road, Lancaster.
