'Park considerately' - Police hit out parking at popular Lakeland spot
POLICE have hit out after visitors to a popular destination in South Lakeland were seen parking illegally.
Officers issued tickets for causing unnecessary obstruction after two vehicles parked on the pavement at Devil's Bridge at Kirkby Lonsdale.
South Lakes Police said on Twitter: "We understand that people are enjoying the good weather but please park considerately and legally.
"Two cars parked on the pavement at Devil's Bridge issued tickets for Causing an Unnecessary Obstruction."
