A FOODBANK has revealed how many people they have helped so far this year.
Kings Foodbank at Kendal have received 564 referrals and have supplied more than 20,000 meals to individuals and families.
A spokesman for Kings Foodbank said: “We have also been able to provide 14 kitchen set up packs for people moving out of local hostels into their own accommodation.
“A kitchen pack includes a microwave, kettle, toaster, crockery and kitchen utensils, costing about £140 each.”
