FILMING has begun on a new series of a popular show featuring Britain’s biggest family.

22 Kids and Counting follows the busy lives of the enormous Radford brood.

In a joint statement, mum Sue, 46, who attended Kirkbie Kendal School, and husband Noel said they were looking forward ‘to sharing more fun and mayhem’ with the public.

The couple, who have 22 children, six grandchildren and four dogs, live in a 10-bedroom home in Morecambe.

Since the family last appeared on television screens, eldest daughter Chloe has flown the nest, son Daniel has returned from the Royal Air Force, and dad Noel, 50, has continued to push forward the family pie business, with plans in place to move into new premises.

Elsewhere, the brood is preparing for a camper van trip through the Highlands in Scotland, and the family’s French bulldogs are about to be taken to puppy classes.

Nick Catliff, executive producer and chief content officer at Lion Television, said: “We have been making films with Sue and Noel for eight years and watched their family grow and grow, so it’s just great to be back with them again as they take on new challenges and adventures in the way that only the Radfords can.”

Dan Louw, VP commissioning editor at Channel 5, said: “22 Kids and Counting was a much-loved addition to the Channel 5 family last year, and we can’t wait to welcome another series of good, old-fashioned family fun.”

A release date for the new series has not yet been fixed.

Filming of the documentary has begun and will continue over the summer months.
