Windermere Jetty Museum are looking for a local artist to help deliver their new augmented reality venture.
The unique, world-class museum telling stories behind boats have launched a new Augmented Reality venture 'We AR Windermere Jetty Museum' at Lakeland Arts.
We AR Windermere Jetty Museum is a simple, innovative idea which lends itself well to the medium of an augmented reality experience on hand-held devices via an app.
Interactive, informative, playful and/or participatory in approach, the work will activate the site.
The ambition is to create a site-specific AR work that will appeal to a wide range of audiences and increase understanding of how digital can encourage new audiences, increase activity, lengthen dwell time and the resulting cultural impact and visitor appeal of the site and collection.
The artist fee is £9,000 and the deadline for application is October, 6 2021
