Officers are investigating after burglars forced entry to a property and stole cash and jewellery.

Police are investigating a reported burglary that occurred at a residential property on Morewood Drive, Burton-in-Kendal, between August 19 and 22.

Cumbria Police reported that cash and jewellery were reported as stolen and that the offenders forced entry to the property via a window.

A force spokesman said: “Police would ask residents to check their property is secure and to report anything suspicious to the police.
