A TRADITIONAL Lakeland pub has featured in The Good Dog Guide.
The Sun Inn, Kendal features in The Good Dog Guide for being 'the most dog friendly pub ever'.
The Good Dog Guide is a website which provides contacts and locations to over 20,000 dog friendly businesses and services across te UK in which The Sun Inn features.
The pub, based in Main Street, Crook, which dates back to 1711 is popular with locals for its traditional, atmospheric, friendly run, dog and child friendly pub.
The Sun Inn prides themselves on welcoming people with 'dogs and muddy boots'
One visitor described the pub as 'very friendly' saying: "Unbelievable how great they are to dogs. Most dog friendly pub ever - box of blankets and toys ready and waiting. Oh and great food and drinks."
Another happy customer said: "Stopped over on a Brit stop. Fabulous cozy pub and the home cooked food was amazing, Would highly recommend a visit and we'll definitely be going back."
