Ye Olde Fleece Inn in Kendal
A KENDAL pub has sent a tongue-and-cheek tweet to Prime Minister Boris Johnson following allegations of a Downing Street Christmas party.
Bosses beind Ye Olde Fleece Inn in Kendal asked Mr Johnson on Twitter if they could move a Christmas Party booking to Downing Street if the country goes into another lockdown.
They wrote: "Hi Boris Johnson, sorry quick question: "if we go into lockdown could we please move the Christmas Party booking to your place, we just hate letting people down last minute." 'Could bring staff too if needed.'
"Just drop us a DM."
Downing Street have insisted no party took place and that 'Covid rules have been followed at all times'.
