TWO men were hospitalised and four people arrested after a ‘serious assault’ in Kendal.
Cumbria Police is appealing for information and witnesses following the assault which occurred at 11.45pm on Saturday, February 26, on Aynam Road.
According to officers, two men were hospitalised having suffered injuries, including injuries believed to have been inflicted with a knife or other bladed article.
They were both discharged the following day after receiving treatment.
Police have so far arrested four people in connection with the incident, two women and two men who all reside in the local area.
All were arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm.
The men have been bailed pending further enquiries.
The women have been released under investigation.
A force spokesman said: “Police would like to hear from anyone who was in the vicinity of Aynam Road and may have witnessed what took place, or who has dashcam footage of the area at the above stated time.
