AN APPLICATION that would have seen six floodlights erected at a South Lakeland school has been withdrawn.
Ulverston Victoria High School was seeking permission to erect six poles with lights mounted on them at its enclosed outdoor leisure area.
The application on the South Lakeland District Council planning portal said this area was due to be resurfaced with artificial grass.
The floodlights would have allowed the area to be used during evenings throughout the year.
