KIRKBY Lonsdale and Kendal Rugby Clubs are preparing for their next games during this upcoming weekend.

Kirkby Lonsdale RUFC will face Sandal in their next fixture on Saturday, March 26.

This will follow on from their most recent game against Macclesfield where they were faced with strong opposition and were hit with a 59-7 defeat on March 12.

Over their last three rugby matches, Kirkby Lonsdale have faced Preston Grasshoppers and the always difficult Rossendale squads.

Despite being unable to claim the victory in these three matches, the club is ready for their next test against Sandal.

Kendal Rugby Club will face their next challenge when they take on Stockport on March 26 at 15:00.

This will be their next game following their intense match up against Manchester which saw them come away with a 55-5 defeat.

This defeat snapped a recent run of success that had seen Kendal win three of four matches, plus a draw against Birkenhead Park on March 5.

Despite the setback, the club is confident they can mount a comeback and achieve another victory against Stockport.

Both sides will represent their clubs on March 26, and all are encouraged to attend.
