A NEW website for the upcoming Westmorland and Furness unitary authority has been launched.
The council will begin operating in April 2023 and is to combine Barrow Borough Council, Eden District Council and South Lakeland District Council.

Elections for 65 councillors to represent the authority are to take place in May.
A new website - westmorlandandfurness.gov.uk - has now been launched and includes information on wards and standing as a candidate.
