HYGIENE: The Ship received the highest possible mark from inspectors
THE food hygiene rating of a nautically-themed pub in Bowness has been revealed.
The Ship Inn, on Glebe Road underwent a food hygiene inspection on April 5, and received a top mark of 5 from South Lakeland District Council.
The pub received a glowing report, rated 'very good' for its hygienic food handling, 'good' for its cleanliness and condition of the facilities and the building and 'very good' for its management of food safety.
