A590 reopens after crash
A MAJOR Cumbrian road has reopened after two cars crashed this morning.
Cumbria Police has confirmed that the A590 at Newby Bridge has reopened following the incident.
The collision happened near the Shell garage and the A590 was closed in both directions between the A592 at Newby Bridge and the A6 at Levens.

Police carried out investigation works following the incident.
Cumbria Police, North West Ambulance Service, Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service were all in attendance.
