CELEBRATION: BGKT Buddhist Group of Kendal celebrate the life of Buddha
THE Buddhist Group of Kendal (Theravada) BGKT Vesak have commemorated the Birth, Enlightenment and Passing Away of the Buddha in a recent celebration.
Held at Kendal Unitarian Chapel Hall on May 16, and it held the Puja religious ceremony.
Some members of the group celebrated at home while others attended in person.
BGKT was privileged to have a beautiful Vesak lantern made by one of its members.
The BGKT Buddhist Group of Kendal (Theravada) was founded in 1991 and celebrated their 30th Anniversary last year.
