Platinum Jubilee celebrations – Of course, the major event of this weekend sees the nation celebrate 70 years of Her Majesty’s reign. Events are set to be held over the weekend at Bitts Park, Denton Holme and Brampton Community Centre to name a few.

Mercury – The Ultimate Queen Tribute, The Sands Centre – Celebrating over 20 years performing together, this act, performing on Friday, has played in front of Brian May, Roger Taylor and Freddie Mercury’s relatives.

Lost In Music - One Night At The Disco, The Sands Centre – On Saturday, you can relive some of the greatest songs of all time from artists such as Donna Summer, Earth, Wind & Fire, and Chic.

Cumbria’s Military Festival, Carlisle Castle – On Friday and Saturday you can meet reenactors and visit their displays, including a range of historic military vehicles on the Parade Square.
