A ZOO has welcomed an adorable new addition to its animal family.
Lakeland Wildlife Oasis, near Milnthorpe, announced today that its tamarin pair welcomed a baby tamarin on Saturday (June 11).
A spokesman said mum and baby are both doing well and that the team are keeping a ‘close eye’ on them.
“Yesterday morning, our emperor tamarins had a baby," they said.
“Mum, dad, and the little one are doing well and our expert staff are keeping a close eye on them.”
