AN APPLICATION that would see three dwellings built at Grange has been submitted to South Lakeland District Council.
The homes would be built in the gardens of Fox Rock, a detached, 1930s property accessed via a private lane linking to Allithwaite Road.
A design-and-access statement submitted in support of the application from Mr and Mrs H Rezaei says the proposed dwellings would be two storeys in height at the street-facing elevation, and single-storey to the rear.

The statement says: "The domestic gardens [of Fox Rock] extend eastwards to meet the western edge of the private road Greenacres.
"The proposal is to subdivide the eastern, lower part of the garden area fronting onto Greenacres to form three new residential plots, and to construct a new detached dwelling with integral garage on each plot."
