A study has named several walks in the Lake District as being the most popular walks in the United Kingdom.
The team at Millican combined the total number of views on TikTok which contained the location hashtag along with the total number of Instagram posts to rank the UK's top 50 walking trails.
Scafell Pike and Ben Nevis have often been named as some of the most popular walking routes in the county.
The 10 most popular UK walks are as follows:
- Ben Nevis – 80,712,208 views
- Pen y Fan – 77,680,875 views
- Cannock Chase – 69,462,309 views
- Arthurs Seat – 50,459,942 views
- Fairy Pools – 28,933,402 views
- Scafell Pike – 26,403,229 views
- West Highland Way – 23,808,926 views
- Kinder Scout – 21,041,966 views
- Slieve Donard – 11,315,276 views
- Malvern Hills – 10,341,593 views
