EMERGENCY services are attending a collision after a motorbike hit a fallen tree.
Police were notified at 11:30am of a report concerning a collision between a motorbike and a tree.
The incident occured on the A683 between Sedbergh and Kirkby Stephen, and the road is currently closed at Cautley.
The initial call suggested the tree fell into the road and motorbike collided with it, said police.
The closure may remain in place for a number of hours.
Drivers should avoid the area.
