Motorcyclist in his 60s dies at scene of collision
A MOTORCYCLIST has died following a collision.
Cumbria Police is investigating the fatal road traffic collision which occurred today (August 3) on the A683 at Cautley, shortly before 11.30am.
The collision involved a single vehicle – a motorcycle.
The motorcyclist – a man in his 60s – was declared dead at the scene.
The man’s family have been informed.
A force spokesman said: “Police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or the moments leading up to it.

Police said the road is expected to reopen shortly.
