Staff at National Trust properties across Cumbria are busy making the final preparations for the official start of the trust's new season, which takes place next weekend.
Acorn Bank Garden, Hill Top, the Beatrix Potter Gallery and Townend historic house, will fully open from Saturday 15, while Wordsworth House and garden re-opens on March 12 and Sizergh Castle and Garden opens its doors on March 17. Steam Yacht Gondola will be back on the water on the March 21.
