TALENTED young musicians will be showcasing their skills at the National Festival of Music for Youth at Cartmel Priory School on Saturday.
Among the children involved in the free event for the region's youngsters will be 17 pupils from Penny Bridge Primary School, who will perform Waltz Espana.' Their music teacher Jane Thedham said: "The children have been practising very hard for this performance and it will be a great experience for them to be part of a national music festival.
"We have some very talented musicians in our school and music plays a big part in our school life."
