A SHUTTLE bus is being laid on to ferry people to the annual Damson Day on Saturday (April 19).
The occasion is set to draw crowds of 2,000 to Low Farm in the Lyth Valley, where there will be stalls packed with produce made from the plump purple fruit.
The bus is being laid on by the organisers at a cost of £2 per passenger and it will leave Kendal from outside the Shakespeare Inn on Saturday at 10.15am and 1.15pm. Return buses will leave the farm at 12.45pm and 4.15pm.
Telephone 015395-68479 to book your seat or turn up on the day.
