ALL three lanes of the M6 southbound carriageway have now reopened following an accident between junction 34 and junction 35.
Following the accident, which occurred near Carnforth this morning, lanes two and three of the carriageway had to be closed, which caused significant tailbacks in the area.
The accident involved a Land Rover Freelander, which overturned when the driver lost control of the vehicle.
Police have not yet confirmed the extent of the driver's injuries, although they are believed to be minor.
